Imagine a lush thicket or hill in the countryside
of England, with gentlemen placed at "pegs" awaiting the beaters who
push pheasants toward the guns. Behind the shooters are the
"pickers-up," workers with retrievers who fetch the grassed bird.
After each push of birds there is a time out so shooters can rotate
to the next peg, or station and the process is repeated. With a
squad of 4 to 12 shooters who will experience each station and
angel of shot. At least 100 birds will be released and off course,
additional pheasants are available. |
